We have developed a whole line of additional products and services to complement your member relationship with your credit union. We are always looking for ways to meet your ever changing needs.
Prepaid Debit Card
Now you can control spending and limit access to your accounts with a prepaid debit card. Our prepaid debit card helps you manage your money because it is pre-funded. No worry about overspending. It is your own money management tool. Since you can’t spend more that what you have loaded on the card, there is no overdraft fees. So, no embarrassing mistakes. Our prepaid debit card is also very safe because it is not linked to any account, so if it is lost or stolen, you won’t have any risk. And it’s much safer and faster than carrying cash.
It is also a way to fund that spending account for your child away at school, or as a budget learning tool before they get a checking account.
You can load additional funds onto the card simply by going to the very user friendly online management site. There you can track your expenses and check on your balance. It’s the smart way to spend your time and money. So contact the credit union right away.
Money Orders
Money orders are available for a fee of $1.00 each and can be purchased for any amount up to $1,000. Money orders are suitable for members who do not have a checking account, for apartment deposits, mail orders, etc.
State Coins
For those coin collectors in our midst, or those needing an appreciated stocking stuffer, we offer collector coins. The State Quarter Collection from Coins of America are available at all of our offices. Each collection features two uncirculated State Quarters, one from the Denver mint and one from the Philadelphia mint, in a colorful display card that opens up to reveal great stories, fun facts and historical trivia about the state. Initially released beginning in 1999 we now have a supply of all 50 states, DC and Puerto Rico. The individual cards can be purchased from $3.50 to $5.25 each. A box specifically designed to hold all of the releases is also available for $9.00.
If you have been collecting them on your own as they circulate throughout the country, we also have a quarter collection coin book available for $5.00. The book contains one slot for each state, so you could purchase two books and work towards collecting the Denver mint issue in one and the Philadelphia mint issue in the second. Either way, it is fun to collect and savor the thrill of completion.
Member Discounts
Credit Union membership has additional rewards. We have partnered with companies to obtain discounts on products and services that will benefit you.
Deer Acres provides discounted tickets to those showing their membership card. You will receive up to $2.00 off per adult ticket and $1.00 off per child’s ticket. They also give you 50% off on return admissions within the season.
If you travel to Mackinac Island, we have a discount coupon available with Mackinac Island Star Line Hydro-Jet Ferry. Complete schedules are available at the main office.
Greenfield Village offers a 10% discount to our members and $1.00 off any IMAX Theatre Show. Their website is www.TheHenryFord.org. In addition we have 25% off regular tour admission for adults and 20% off children at the Henry Ford Estate.
We are participants in the Invest in America program through our credit union league where automotive discounts and rebates change on a monthly basis. For current information you can go to www.lovemycreditunion.org.
Sprint discounts of 10% off most regularly priced Sprint Nextel programs are also available to credit union members. Just ask any teller for a flyer or go to www.lovemycreditunion.org and follow the links.
Notary Service
Notary Public service is available at our offices to our members only. There is no charge for this service. Due to limited availability we recommend that you call our office first to make sure that a Notary Public will be in the office at the time you need the service.
