Checking Accounts
Credit Union Plus has a variety of transaction or checking accounts that have been developed over the years based on member requests. Checks can be reordered online or on our web page. Just follow the directions on your reorder form. We have created a generic credit union check with our building screened in the background in three colors, and is the most economical.

FREE Checking Account
This is our most popular checking account. There is no minimum requirement, no interest earned, no monthly fees. Just the cost of checks and you are good to go.
Regular Draft Account
Under normal economic times, this interest bearing checking would be a smart choice. The minimum balance requirement is $200.00. The higher the balance, the higher the interest rate as it is a tiered rate account just like your shares. Unfortunately in today’s climate, the minimum balance to receive dividends is $1,000.
PLUS Account
Our higher interest bearing checking account requires a higher minimum balance of $2,500.00. This is an ideal account when your volume usage is high and is therefore less restrictive than our money market accounts.
Small Business Account
Small business owners take advantage of our small business account as we do not charge for checks deposited or for checks withdrawn. It is a non-interest bearing checking account with no minimum balance and no monthly fees and account activity can be tracked on our home banking site. We provide deposit bags and a deposit stamp free of charge. Locking deposit bags require a deposit. Our main office can accept the larger bags in the night deposit box.
Business PLUS Account
If you have in excess of $20,000.00 in your business operating account you could open a Business PLUS Account and receive all of your business checks for free. This is a non interest bearing account and requires a minimum balance to avoid the monthly fee of $5.00.
Money Market Account
Members wanted an alternative to a term account. Our basic Money Market Account does just that, requiring a minimum of $5,000.00 and is limited to four transactions a month. Your checks are provided free upon opening the account.
Money Market PLUS Account
Our highest yield transaction account is our Money Market PLUS Account. The minimum balance is $10,000.00 and is limited to six transactions a month. Yours checks are provided free upon opening the account.
